We are very excited to share the recipe for Chedi Thai’s Grilled Thai-style Pork Chops! This ever-popular menu item can be found on the restaurant’s $10 Prix-Fixe lunch menu. Even better, it’s easy to make at home!

Ingredients:
4-6 center cut bone-in pork chops (about 2-2.5 lbs)
4 table spoons Oyster sauce
2 table spoons Hoisin sauce
2 table spoons Fresh garlic minced
4 pieces Cilantro root chopped
1 tea spoon Curry powder
1 tea spoon turmeric
1/2 cup Olive oil
2 tablespoons sweet roasted chili paste
6 Bay leaf
Salt and fresh ground black pepper

Preparation:
Begin by making the marinade in a small bowl. Whisk together olive oil, oyster sauce, garlic, curry powder, turmeric, cilantro root, and chili paste. Next, sprinkle both sides of the pork chop with salt and black pepper and place in a re-sealable plastic bag with the marinate and bay leaf. Let the pork chops rest for about 2 hours.

After the pork chops have marinated for 2 hours, heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Remove the pork chops from the bag. Place on the grill and cook until the pork chop releases from the grill about 5 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side for another 4 minutes. Chops are ready when internal temperature is 160 degrees.
